Busy Busy (Oct. 4)
A thousand pages of G. K. Chesterton later I need some fluff. It has been weeks since I rowed and I hurt my back Saturday. I suspect we start from scratch after the NY trip. At least we still do the hill almost every day.

August 17 – Older If Not Wiser
On NJ Transit, a local that makes every stop to Trenton. The next xpress left later and got in 4 minutes later and Penn Station is NOT my favorite waiting room. Jordan is sleeping on the seat next to me.

Of all the apps on the Internet, I am most attuned to instant messaging. Not surprising that the keyboard to keyboard digital modes on ham radio are so attractive

Had to run to San Francisco first thing. Did 11Km yesterday on the water and am dragging a little today. Spent 90 minutes with Peter & Alice at Red Blossom Tea. And Jordan got soy paste buns

Another chilly and windy day and another fire cropped up in Martinez. We did not get called out but it sounded close.

Busy Fire Department week. A week ago we got called out to staging at a big vehicle storage facility fire in Brentwood. Yesterday morning we were a checkpoint on a fire truck driving rally. Then there was a scary wildland fire in the middle of Moraga at 4:00PM! Read the rest of this entry »
